Perjury Watch-Gregory Slate

Caution do not rent from Slate. He makes his living suing renters.

A federal judge found Greg Slate guilty of perjury, manufacturing evidence and witness intimidation on April 23, 2013. From the judge's ruling:

"Mr. Slate has repeatedly attempted to abuse the discovery process, and his persistent course of conduct in this regard strongly suggests that he acted willfully. This conduct includes, but is not limited to: (1) attempting to fraudulently collect evidence;25 (2) producing discovery documents in a soiled envelope that had the strong odor of excrement;26 (3) improperly videotaping his own deposition testimony;27 and (4) producing voluminous amounts of irrelevant and misleading materials."

Slate now makes his living by suing people. Most of his targets are renters unaware that Slate has a record of over 50 cases in litigation against former renters and business contacts. Anyone who comes in contact with Slate is a potential target for litigation. Slate rents low income apartments often containing building code violations and pests. Unhappy renters that move out early become litigation targets for Slate. Slate also sues restaurants and other businesses where he thinks there are deeper pockets. Slate is assisted by a young woman named Lauren Pomeroy (fair skinned red hair). According to witnesses Pomeroy collects rental checks for Slate. Pomeroy pretends to be Slate's wife though Slate is not married.. Slate is in a relationship with a writer named Kat Stoeffel. Stoeffel is a writer for a blog called the New York Observer. She assisted Slate in 2010 with his frauds in the DC area. Stoeffel writes articles purporting Slate to be a journalist to increase his credibility. Slate has never published anything professionally. Slate's actual job in the way that he makes his living is through litigation. Greg Slate sues people for a living. Anyone questioning this claim can search the court databases below. You will find over 50 references for Greg Slate. Slate lives in the court system like a cancer. Anyone being sued by Greg Slate may use this court ruling to directly attack his credibility at trial. What is GregSlate.com?

Greg Slate is a former volunteer. Slate was terminated in 2007 after fabricating a news report. In 2002, without our permission, Greg Slate transferred our websites into his name and incorporated our business name "The Police Complaint Center." We learned of the incorporation last year, 2011 though ABC news. For five years Slate was running a shadow business in our name. He appointed his 11-year-old and 14-year-old brother's as members of the Police Complaint Center board of directors.


After stealing our website Slate opened a bank account and began receiving payments from Policeabuse.com clients. Slate created gregslate.com where he claims to be a freelance journalist. To our knowledge, Slate has never produced anything for television or national news. The site is a fraud used by Slate to attract clients. Slate continued impersonating the Police Complaint Center until we reported him to the police and filed a federal lawsuit. Recently, Slate was arrested for felony contempt of court, felony probation violations and selling methamphetamines by DC police April 2012. Slate was arrested again on a fugitive warrant in court June 20 12. The videos above include crimes by Slate against other victims and a smear campaign Slate waged against his biological father in 2005. Slate sent hundreds of defamatory fliers into his father’s West Virginia neighborhood.
