Can an uniformed police office in an unmarked car stop you for violation? I did not stop all the way at a stop sign, and the officer came up wearing a dirty leather jacket, and cowboy boots. He was unshaven and looked like he was recovering from a drunken stooper. I did not stop all the way but I stopped enough to see nothing was coming.

It depends on what state you are in but I have advised my wife and daughter never to stop but drive to the nearest police station.

They'd probably get into trouble but at least they wouldn't end up raped and murderd by the likes of California Highway Patrol Officer Craig Peyer.

QUOTE:
Peyer was convicted of killing Knott, a 20-year-old San Diego State University student whose body was found at the base of a bridge off Interstate 15 near Mercy Road.

It was a dark, deslolate area of Interstate 15 wher the young lady was pulled over, beaten, raped and strangled to death by an "officer of the law". Imagine, if she had taken the advice I give to the women I love she would still be alive today.

And this cop was in a marked car.

A jury found him guilty of second degree murder and he was recently denied parole after serving 20 years.

He needs to rot away in jail. To bad, so sad, he can't be turned loose in the general population.
