COMPLAINT # 3584256 1 Month ago
Name of Police Agency Town of Cicero Police Department - NY

In January of 2006 I received several calls from a Cicero Police officer at 3:00AM on a week night. He finally left a message and when I returned his urgent call through the 911 dispatch center, he claimed he had the wrong number, yet called me by my name. He was extremely rude and mumbled his name so I really couldn’t decipher it. I have an unlisted and unpublished phone number, yet he called my number at least five times, waking me out of a dead sleep. I reported this to the manager of the 911 call center the following day as an unusual incident. She suggested at the time that I report this to the Town of Cicero, which I did not. I could not decipher the name. I can provide you with an exact date. The 911 call center has the date, and I have his messages on my answering machine. Needless to say, this same officer pulled me over in August of the same year, and charged me with DWI. He was extremely, arrogant, unprofessional, and he was prying into my personal life. He was extremely unprofessional to say the least. Again, he mumbled his name so I couldn’t decipher it once again but I knew it was the same individual that called me obsessively in the middle of the night. His mumbling was a dead give-away. I still have that message on my answering machine and I still cannot decipher his name. I received a letter in the mail today from the Town of Cicero Court telling me I failed to appear in Court for a “Lane Violation”. This is clearly a mistake. Firstly, I was never pulled over, never ticketed for anything, and I have no idea what they're referring to, none whatsoever. This is a definite mistake. I was never ticketed and the letter I received never mentioned when a ticket was issued or what Court appearance I missed, or a date of any Court appearance. This incident never happened. I would like to know who the arresting officer was on the morning of August 23, 2007. I believe he may have something to do with this fictitious “lane violation” ticket. This was my first thought and it would not surprise me at all. I also believe he is an undermining, unprofessional, dishonest individual and it would be in his character to harass me in such a way. This is a case of harassment and I will not tolerate this. If this officer is somehow involved (whatever his name is) I am going get an order of protection against him and I will file charges against him for stalking and harassment. This man is a stalker and I beleive he falsley created a traffic violation ticket and turned it into the Court. There was never a "lane violation" charge, ever. Again, this is just a thought but I can’t conceive how the Court could make such a grave mistake. It is just inconceivable. How can I go about filing chages against this officer. He is a detriment to society, especially in this small town and I feel I'm being harrassed. I need some help. Thank you, Lisa

If your town has an internal affairs department that would be the first step. if not contact your state law enforcement division to file a complain. You will need to take a copy of the answering machine messages to them. make a copy and keep the original in a safe place. If that does not work contact your mayor or governor. Contact your local media outlet and so forth. Even though as you say this person is not professional you should be just the opposite and keep your composer. you would want them to see you as more of a professional. You could do directly to the police department and see the chief or sherrif with all the evidence you have. BUT TAKE COPIES not originals.

I hope you keep us posted as to what else transpires with this cop but most important of all be careful because this guy sounds like he's not quite all there and there's not many things more dangerous then a guy like this with a badge.I'm sure you probably have but make sure you tell people you know you can trust ie. family and or best friends what's transpired with this cop because you never know what people are capable of. Who knows it maybe and probably is over reacting by doing what I mentioned but much better safe then sorry. Good Luck.
